We are a photography club based in Carlow, Ireland and we had the pleasure of welcoming David to our club for a zoom... presentation this week. Members of Carlow Photographic Society would like to extend a huge thank you to David for his fantastic presentation "Fine Art : A Workflow".David showed us some of his amazing and very striking photography. He also gave us a very informative step by step tutorial from start to finish of his editing workflow on one of his images. He was extremely generous with his editing techniques shared and we were in awe of the end result. He talked about many photographers who have inspired him which lead him to this style of photography and gave great advice to members about developing their own photography.We would highly recommend David as an amazing photographer and for his excellent tutorials. Dave Garthwaite spoke to our Camera Club on the topic of 'Fine Art - A Workflow'. He takes and produces the most... incredible images; he spent the evening demonstrating how to create these from an original - which in my eyes was fine as it stood. But he showed, and talked us through, the Photoshop steps to transform it into a beautiful work of art. He was clear in explaining a fairly complicated process, and responsive to the questions our club members asked him during the presentation. A great evening!read more

David gave an excellent talk to Wadebridge and District Camera Club. his photographs were outstanding and the... descriptions of the technique and skill applied to achieve such images were fascinating. I am anticipating many attempts by our members to replicate these images, but I am not optimistic of anyone achieving the quality and beauty of David's work. Thank you David for an excellent evening.
